Founder's Day We want to extend a warm thank you to all of you who attended our Founder's Day event on March 28, and those of you who donated to the baskets for the auction as well. It was wonderful to see so many people dedicated to bettering children's lives in one room! We only wish we could have had more time to visit with each and every one of you and to hear the amazing things you are doing in your local units.
The National PTA Official Back to School Kit—Register Today!
The Official Back to School Kit contains the PTA Quick-Reference Guides, membership posters, male involvement materials, program and advocacy resources, and special offers from national partners—the tools your units need for a successful PTA year. Make sure your PTAs get these valuable resources. Remind them to register to receive their free 2011–2012 kit.
All local, council, district, and
regional PTAs must register to receive their kit for 2011–2012.
The kit registration form is at www.PTA.org/OfficialKit.
The incoming 2011-2012 PTA president or other authorized leader
will need to specify the unit's preferred shipping address and
date.
2011-12 Officers At Council, the new board is beginning the school year. One of our goals is to have as much contact information for your new and returning officers as possible to allow for timely forwarding of information as the school year begins. Please forward names, phone numbers and email addresses of your new boards to us at president@rentonptsa.org as soon as your elections are done. Don't forget to also enter them in the state membership site. Your council 2011-12 officers are listed in the About Us page.
